After hearing about the enormous amount of paper coffee cups that were being used in Berlin, 20.000 per hour (in 2018), I made this work. Six screens with which I scooped paper, made out of found paper coffee cups from the streets of Berlin. Within the paper all kinds of stuff can be found that was hidden in the coffee cups, like sand and tree leaves, cigarette filters and all the plastic that has been used to produce the cups. Every screen carries a brass nameplate with the name of a type of coffee that is popular in the hipster coffee culture.
