A room filling installation of 225 cubes of compressed garbage.
The If Paradise Is Half as Nice project #8 took place in Altenburg in 2018 in an old department store. The building collected garbage, thrown in by the people from Altenburg over the 24 years the building had been closed. I collected the garbage and started to compress it to cubes. Every cube contains about 1 liter of waste, reflecting the period the building was closed for 24 years and the time of our art project, which took five weeks.
