A wall sculpture that came to existence during the process of working on my solo exhibition “Ich wunder mich” at the Kunstverein Eisenturm Mainz in October 2024. The main work for that show was based on a small experience I had during a warm summer day in 2023. While walking home coming out of a busy park, I noticed a few birds sitting at the dirty back side of a shopping mall, centred around some sewers.
This specific little series of works shown here are little poetic reflections on my own position as a visual artist.
